Bexhill on Sea is situated on the South Coast in East Sussex. It has been listed as  one of the top ten UK beach resorts by travel writer Frank Bennett and has always been a popular place to retire but in recent years a wider age group has discovered the benefits of living here. There is a delightful promenade which extends the full length of the seafront, world famous De La Warr Pavillion, charming individual shops and cafes and picturesque Old Town. 

Sports enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with two superb golf courses, sailing and rowing clubs, indoor and outdoor bowling clubs, tennis and squash clubs to name a few.

Eastbourne another popular Seaside resort is 15 miles away with a good selection of individual shops, department stores, pier, marina and restaurants. Hastings to the East of Bexhill is just 5 miles away and Battle with its mainline station giving direct access to Charing Cross in just over an hour, is 15 miles away. Ashford giving access to Euro tunnel and the Continent is approximately an hour's drive away.
